Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
Likely written out: Aeron Greyjoy (the Damphair), and the Reeds. Still to come: Brynden Tully (the Blackfish), Hoster Tully, Edmure Tully, and Ramsey Snow.
Spoiler:
They can't write out the reeds. Who would explain Green Dreams to Bran and escort him through north of the wall? If they switched it to the wilding woman then who would escort Rikon to White Harbor?

Spoiler:
Luwin.
Just remembered one more important character introduced in season two whom we have yet to meet; this one could probably go either way on being in the show, I'm leaning no:
The only significant characters I remember seeing in the preview chapter were
Spoiler:
Stannis, Asha, and Theon
, unless there is another one floating about.
Second preview chapter involves
Spoiler:
Arianne Martell traveling to Storm's End to meet with Aegon Targaryen - most likely to attempt to arrange an alliance between Dorne and the Targaryen invaders
And, in retrospect, I don't remember 25-33% of AFFC being about all new characters, but instead most of it being
Spoiler:
Cersei's descent into drunken madness, Jaime seeking redemption, Brienne seeing the horrors visited on the smallfolk, with smatterings of the Stark children and Samwell
with only a small portion being
Spoiler:
Iron Islands, and even most of that was centered on Asha; and an even smaller (but awesome) portion taking place in Dorne.
though I freely admit I could be completely wrong.
There was quite a good deal and character development on:
Spoiler:
Euron and Victarion Greyjoy, we know from Book 5 that Victarion gets more and more "screen time" and then look at the plotline with Doran Martell, Arianne Martell, and the Sand Snakes - specifically involving the plot to abduct Mycella Baratheon and claim Dornish rights of succession (ie, oldest regardless of gender inherits) and then we also find out, when the plot fails, the Doran has sent Quentyn Martell across the seas to marry Dany. Quite a bit of chapters were spent to set up all that storyline. Furthermore, those were the parts of AFFC where the actual action was.

A whole bunch this season. And forgive me I never remember character names, but there was Stannis, the witch, the onion guy (I think you named them), the Greyjoy ruler, Theon's sister, Theon's first mate, that snow chick, the 50 foot woman, that crow ranger who just got captured looking for Jon Snow, Robb's love interest, Renly's wife, the king of Qarth, the warlock, the fat, obnoxious guy on the thirteen, the fat kid with Arya, her assassin friend. I'm starting to forget where season 2 started, but was Jon Aryn's creepy wife from this season? The creepy old guy north of the wall with a hundred wives was this season, what about the creepy old guy with a hundred wives and a bridge? Frey I think. Was Tyrian's love interest from this season? The wildling woman who hangs out with Bran and Hodo, which season was she from?
Hah, wow, I'm worse with names then I expected. I think I don't know anyone's name who wasn't in the first episode, hahah.
Oh man you may **** a brick when Season 5 comes along if you count all those as main characters .

(btw see the last part of that post - ties into a character you said you could see being written off)

I don't get how Storm's End could have fallen so fast to Connington because didn't Stannis say he held the city under siege for the entire time of Robert's Rebellion?

Spoiler:
Remember when Stannis retook it before marching on King's Landing, he decimated the leadership. Then when he lost at Blackwater, obviously his own people came with him to the Wall. It is like under weak leadership - and you never know, perhaps someone very sympathetic to the Targaryen rule, after seeing what Baratheon/Lannister rule has led to.
Speaking of Stannis at the Wall, I can't wait to see the scene at the end of SoS when the wildlings are about to attack and Stannis comes out from the East... though I guess that will be the end of Season 4, alas

I'm betting that'll be more towards the middle of season four, but we'll see. I'm thinking 1.5 seasons for book 3, then somewhere between 1.5-2.5 for 4&5 together.
