Maybe Jon can also become kind of Walkutus of the Walkers and help the humans from inside the Others.

      Resistance is futile.
I always thought it was a dead body which the three eyed crow had waged into. BTW the three eyed crow character has a really cool back story.

        • The latest rumor is that The Winds of Winter will be released halfway through the next season of Game of Thrones. Since there are ten episodes a season with one episode per week starting in May that means we can expect the book in early June. Which sadly means still half a year to wait.

              • I'm beginning to think maybe Martin can't handle the pressure. He was okay before when no one was paying attention to him, but now he has performance anxiety.

Lori, yeah, he said deadlines freak him out and the closer the deadline gets the less and less work gets done. He said this has been a life long problem for him. He also said he was rewriting and changing stuff including in the Theon chapter which he had already previewed.

Hopefully it will be worth the wait though I worry about how his writing time between books seems to be getting longer and longer. We could be looking at an eight year wait for the last book.

                    • If it's any comfort, in the work-shy layabout stakes he's way behind Thomas Harris. His gaps between books are 6 years, 7 years, 11 years, and 17 years (taking us up to 2006- not a peep since then).

                              • They did show the giant wading into the water. Since they're from north of the wall, they must be adapted for the cold.....
