  • The wolf pastry looked pretty tasty, like it had cinammon on it or something.

    • The wolf pastry was ****ing adorable. I love Hot Pie. I laughed my ass off during his little kidney pie and gravy rant.

      • That's actually his name in the book?

If it is, I can legitimately pass off all my stupid nicknames as an homage. Brilliant.

I agree 100%. The nudity in Game of Thrones annoys me--it makes it inconveniently inappropriate to watch in certain company in a way that gratuitous violence does not, and it's not like it's difficult to find other, better sources of gratuitous nudity.

I'm too distracted by how great Brienne looks in her new armor.

Really? I mean I agree with your general point - the nudity is gratuitous and adds nothing really to the plot. Showing some nudity every few episodes during a sex scene, fine - shoehorning nudity in every episode to seemingly fill a quotient, ridiculous. However, everyone I know that would find the nudity inappropriate would find the violence just as inappropriate - and plenty of folks I know would be more ok with the sexposition than they would with the gore and violence on the show.

Do you hang out with prudes?

                      • I watch the show with my neighbors and it's mixed company, it does get a little awkward sometimes.

So, will somebody be teaching her bratty little son to fly in the next episode?

                          • I find that women are much more likely to cover their eyes or turn away during overly-violent scenes rather than making sexposition scenes awkward.

Who, Joffrey? Wasn't he supposed to be pretty close to draft age at the time? Geez, how many young men his age got chewed up during the last two world wars?

We're not going to see too much of her bratty little son.

Yeah, that's fair. But I do know from experience the lesbo kind of stuff in particular is weird for her.
