I said it for the ass you were being in this thread. Bragging about watching Battlefield: LA in a thread about the deaths of thousands of people is tasteless. You're a piece of ****.

If this is true then there is radiation leaking out.
Up to 160 people, including 60 elderly patients and medical staff who had been waiting for evacuation in the nearby town of Futabe, and 100 others evacuating by bus, might have been exposed to radiation, said Ryo Miyake, a spokesman from Japan's nuclear agency. It was unclear whether any cases of exposure had reached dangerous levels. With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. One of the better sources of info is the American Nuclear Society
It occurs to me that the good news is background radiation is returning to normal. I was worried that when containment blew on unit 1 aside from the reactor integrity main concerns, that the spent fuel pool (which typically resides in the upper deck of containment) might have been compromised. Granted the fuel is underwater and fully clad so that leakage possibility is remote but I still am amazed that the containment structure failed given what I know about the containment structure."Just puttin on the foil" - Jeff Hanson

And there is a difference between dose and exposure. It's been said here many times and is the cornerstone of basic pharmacology. Still, small doses of radiation can be harmless and in some cases even beneficial.
