Why do you link a video repeating a statement already disproven via an independent source?

          • Oerdin, you can't even man up enough to acknowledge DinoDoc's statements? I can't honestly figure out why you guys seem to think DinoDoc is such a tool. Sure, he frequently quotes outside sources but that's not actually a bad thing. It's better than what you do, which is spout unhinged nonsense and claim that whoever disagrees with you couldn't possibly be intelligent.

In this case, reality is against your overblown statements.

If you had used the amended statement Maddow retreated to after being called on her deception (strangely also citing OpenSecrets):
MADDOW: Of the top ten, seven of the top ten from the last election are contributing to the right. Only three of them are contributing to the left. And the only three that are contributing to the left are unions....There are only three out of the top ten contributors of big money of outside groups in the last election who are not contributing to right-wing causes and they are the unions.

you would have been more correct but your hyperbole would still have been repulsive.

He's a tool because he doesn't fact check his blatantly biased sources and misrepresents others. Also, he asks very obtuse questions that don't prove anything. Though this could be because of his low IQ. He has a hard time forming cogent arguments of his own and hilariously misunderstands nearly everything said to him. That only a rightwing sycophantic teenager is impressed by him only further demonstrates my point.

In the last election of the top ten political campaign funding sources seven of them were either companies or PACs made up of companies which tilted heavily towards Republicans; this is a result of the Citizens United case which was EXTREMELY partisan where the partisan Republican majority on the SCotUS literally removed over 100 years of campaign finance laws and now allows corporations and/or wealthy individuals to spend unlimited amounts of money to buy politicians. The only three democratic funding sources in the top ten were all unions so Republicans have made a national plan to break unions thus depriving Democrats of a key funding source. That's why the Republicans want to make it illegal for employers to automatically deduct union dues from pay checks if the employee opts to do so, they know that will mean less funds for unions, that's why they're trying to remove the right to collectively bargain because they know that will make unions irrelevant, that's why they've tried to pass laws so that any union member can opt out of political campaign donations even though shareholders of corporations are not allowed to do the same. It's all about trying to remove the other guy's source of funds and manpower. In short, it's just blatant partisanship and an attempt to erect legalistic restrictions to harm the other side. It's extremely anti-Democratic in nature.
Great. Another poster that doesn't accept the legitimacy of elections but offers no alternative. Govern by polls from now on Oerdin? Head count at rallies?

Democrats are showing themselves to be incredibly undemocratic.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that WI Dems aren't used to being in opposition. Do they usually win this State?

                        • I don't know how anybody can stomach associating themselves with either of the major political parties... but unfortunately, there really isn't any reasonable alternative. I've been known to vote libertarian on occasion in some races where both major party candidates are totally worthless... but the libertarians are just as likely to put up some nut job... and then I just write in Mickey Mouse, and look at the next contest.

                            I thought that was compulsory.

Still the Tea Party does have some interesting flavours too. Makes British politics seem quite 'greige' in comparison.

I could say the same of either party at the moment but having been a repug for as long as I have, I can only hold out hope that the far right eventually fades away in terms of influence. To me, historically the mainstream Repugs own the middle and the Dems borrow it to win elections. Once they're elected they lean back left and the repugs get back in at the next crack. Except for slick willie, who was really a repug dressed up like a dem. I even voted for him.
