I have my proof and I don't expect everyone else to believe it but I know it's true. But I should really be focusing on the present and not worrying about all that.

Generations of science-fiction writers have come up with scads of reasons why time-travel might not be the best idea. They generally boil down to

1. Paradoxes
2. Other unintended consequences

Also, while I'm no physicist, the idea of time travel strikes me as nonsensical and I don't see why it should be possible in the first place.

Time travel only makes sense if you get rid of the concept of free will. Then you can't choose to go back in time and kill yourself.
