What the **** does that mean? What does that have to do with this? In fact, YOU would be the one claiming fortune cookies are Chinese if we used bobotie as an analogy. Here's something developed by the Malaysians and Dutch and brought to South Africa where Black folk started eating it, as well, and it gets marketed as African.

Likewise, fortune cookies were made by Japanese Americans and marketed as Chinese.

    **** YOU

Learn how to make a good analogy.

I'm not the one who disingenuously excluded the part that showed onodera correct.

What you think onodera? Do you feel bamboozled? I do.

what the ****? You're the one bringing up ****ing fortune cookies and claiming that I think they're Chinese. Who the **** said I think their Chinese?! You came up with that retarded analogy and did it ****ing backwards.

              I approve.

              Albie will not.

It's not cute. It really isn't. It's annoying and stupid. Be a ****ing man and say what you think and back it up with what you have. If you're wrong, you're wrong. Don't lie about it and don't put words in people's mouths to divert attention away from you being wrong to somehow someone else being a ****** for stuff they didn't say.

                  Thread win

I'm thinking the issue here is that there aren't any widely recognised african dishes (and even then, any dish will probably be as 'african' as blood sausage and crêpe are 'european').

A portion of this article I read today applies to Alby very well:

Mr Landsburg has a regrettable tendency toward tone-deaf, context-dropping, contrarian provocation based on an unexamined assumption that this is what it means to be bravely rational. It is not.
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
                      - John 13:34-35 (NRSV)

I read the article and I see what they mean about Landsburg and that applies to me how?

This intellectual misdirection is what you all do.

If it wasn't for the voice posts, I would have guessed at Albie being a Wiglaf-esque DL. Instead he is just Wiglaf-esque.

Africans should be glad to have bananas, while the poor people of central Europe are starving.

                                I'm getting bored with Albert's be-a-******-and-get-angry-when-people-disagree thing.
