Well all is good, I am back at work after my extended Christmas break (as from last week) and all is good.
Rather than go freelance directly I agreed to see out the duration of the contract...works out well because I get all my redundancy pay and pay in lieu of notice so I don't end up out of pocket for the privilege. I am all registered for my company and am ready for the contract to be signed. I just need to give ze Germans a nudge to sort it out.Speaking of Erith:

I quit my job as well, and since I had leftover holidays, I actually get paid more than if I had taken them and then quit, since I don't get anything deduced (health/retirement funds mainly).
