My experience with Switzerland was passing through it three times.

Once, on the train from Prague to Milan. Then, on a train from Milan to Colmar, and lastly on a car from Colmar to a small town, in France, to the south of Lake Geneva. We did stop briefly for lunch somewhere, so I can tell you they have different money.

      Confused yet

Well I tend to do implementation of this system for companies, so transfer from external and legacy systems to SAP, but also sometimes involve myself in support activities and correction when no one else can figure out what the f**k has gone wrong

They have funny money. But so do we so I can't complain.

Do you know there is a 1000CHF note...that is a crazily large denomination. It will almost buy you a Big Mac and fries

                I provide solutions to problems

                At a price, of course...

Seriously though, getting out of the sciences was the best move I ever made and I don't regret it one bit.

The work conditions are better and I am vastly better paid than in the sciences (which at some points was truly derisory, hell, for a stretch I'd have almost been better off flipping burgers).

Been there once for a few days, visiting a friend in Geneva. No nightlife to speak of, and it was full of insufferable wealthy old people. Life is ridiculously expensive. If you buy your home, sure, you're just losing on the interest - but you probably do want some money available to enjoy life before you're 62, don't you?

Edit: the only compelling reason to move there would be if skiing is the meaning of your life.
