The only one of those he didn't do is tell someone to STFU.
I told someone to STFU because they seemed high on drugs and was putting false words in His mouth. Excuuuuuuse me!!!!!!I drank beer. I like beer. I still like beer. ... Do you like beer Senator?

Good Night!!!!!!Originally posted by Elok View PostIf I wanted to get personal, I would reference your personal life in some way. And this isn't about your beliefs, except insofar as you're a professed Christian and thus your actions reflect on us to some extent. Your manner of expressing them is, shall we say, uncouth. I can't think of any Christian saint who acted the way you do, the way you say the Bible wants us to. Not one. Even St. Stephen only railed at the Pharisees when they had him on trial for his life. The rest were firm in their convictions, but mild in defending them.
Nobody ever defended the faith by saying, "Hey, you! You're a bad person! No, don't ask me why, don't try to defend yourself, just take it from me, you're a bad person! What? Do I know you? What does that have to do with anything? You're immoral! Oh yeah? Well, you're just stupid for thinking that, ha ha ha!" Jesus himself went among prostitutes, tax collectors, all the scum of the ancient world, but we have no record of his condemning them in that fashion. The closest he came was with the Samaritan woman at the well, and there he only stated facts calmly: "Yes, you've had five husbands, and now you're with a sixth man." How he reacted to atheists, we can't say, because there's no record of such things, but of course he had plenty of strong words for the self-righteous religious elite of his day.

Show me where Jesus is snarky. And he has harsh words for the Pharisees, but name-calling? Not even close. (Hint: telling people what they are in a calm manner to illustrate a bigger point or make them realize things about themselves is not "name calling")Originally posted by Kidicious View PostWRONG! Well, it's not exactly name-calling, but in all fairness, he does compare the Pharisees to sepulchres, white on the outside but full of rotting death in the middle. That's sort of like calling them a name. But dang, that'd be a cool put-down. Way better than just spamming the
smiley. Kid, if you're going to be rude you need to step up your game.
