    i've never lived with a girl that i've been in a relationship with. although i did live with some girls who i ended up shagging, but i don't think that counts.

    might move in with the latest one though, but she's not too keen on living in a favela. we'll see in the next couple of months.

        Yes.
        When I started to date Nelleke, she was 17...
        That's not usually the age to move in together (either married or unmarried)...
        Not to mention that she was still attending school, etc.

          17 and 22... judging from a previous thread, there's a bunch of posters here who would say yikes to that.

            I knew my wife for many years (~9 years) before I moved in w/her, but we were just friends for about 4 years. The transition from friends to lovers took a while and there are no clear milestones.

            After moving in, engagement followed the next year. Marriage was 2 1/2 years after moving in, a total of 11 years since I'd met her. That was 5 years ago.
