Got your mail, I've forwarded it to Martin Guhmann who's the CtP2 guy.
The archives are indeed partly lost. But I know that Martin has done a lot to preserve the CtP stuff. It's just not public yet.

For apolyton it was a decision between letting Apolyton go or just only let the archives go.
I wish I would have been able to save the archives, but nobody knew how to do it. We just needed to move on to the new server. Right now I do not even know if we have a backup of the archives.

well at least the most of off-topic archives seem to have survived
