I have been offered a storefront by an investor who is throwing quite a bit of money at me. Which is good however, I want to serve savory pies. Now here in Texas we know all about sweet pies, fried pies etc.. not to much in the savory or meat pie pasty catagory.
So I need your opinions, advice, recipes if you have them. What makes a good meat pie for you? What is it about that one particular place that you got to get your favorite meat pie. What is a pasty? NOT some dictionary definition. What do you look for in a good meat pie. Tell me about the crust, the shapes, sizes anything you can think of that might help me out.
