    Kind of my point.

It's more important to be first than accurate.

his question was, "what is government if words have no meaning?"

            • I presume Arizona is a death penalty state.

Do they also execute the insane (as with other states)?

                • This is a question for the lawyers here. How common is it for a sheriff to inject his partisan opinions into investigations at least when talking to the media about an active case?

                  • Probably more common than it should be. I'm assuming just based on the fact that you asked that it's Arpaio. I'd be shocked if a day goes by without him doing that. I shouldn't know the name of any sheriff in Arizona off the top of my head.

Dupnik. His department is investigating this attack.

By far the majority of right-wingers are also religious. Stupidity is a fairly consistent trait, after all.

He was completely right, and the sane people know it.

Divisive US politics like the **** Palin and the Tea Party peddle are not only going to continue to turn off voters, but cause crazy people to do crazy things.

I didn't see anything partisan in his comments unless you think sanity is a principle only the Democrats have.

                            • I don't think Palin's gun rhetoric (or anyone else's obvious or not so obvious violent rhetoric) causes crazy people to do crazy things. Crazy people will find whatever stimulus is necessary to do crazy things. But it's impossible for us to get rid of all such stimuli. After all, if this guy admits that his toaster told him to shoot the nice Congress lady, should we blame toasters?

That said, I do think the violent rhetoric in this country doesn't help us rationally debate political issues.

It's her divisive politics in general, not just gun rhetoric.

That said, have you seen pictures of this gun and the extended capacity magazine? Jesus tapdancing Christ, why the **** is that legal? There's no rational reason for a 22 year old civilian to own a powerful semi-automatic handgun WITH AN EXTENDED CAPACITY MAGAZINE.

****, your country is crazy, Lori.
