Maybe you should actually do some research on the teachings of the church of christ. The church that his true followers started. And not just make something up simply because you disagree with their official teachings. The Catholic church is quite clear on the subject of grace and confession.

Since the Catholics consider themselves the official church of Jesus... they must have the inside track on understanding Christ and that particular god.

The Tea Party consider themselves one in mind with the founders' wishes. They must have the inside track on understanding the Constitution and therefore we should all listen to them on Constitutional interpretation .

And yet again... please point out where I posted that I was a booster of it. My feelings toward the RCC have nothing to do with the simple fact that the RCC was indeed founded by the true followers of Jesus and is the largest of the supposed Christian faiths.
They have the best claim as the true church of Jesus/Christ.

I get a little tired of "some" people's made up claims on what a christian thinks and believes, when the true church of Christ would disagree with them. And yes, I do disagree with the RCC... but I'm not the one here posting about what a great christian I am, or about how my beliefs are the true beliefs that ALL christians need to follow.

Them covering up the raping of children, and also having the best CLAIM on being the true church of christ have nothing to do with each other. Please explain how it's "CHEAP POINTS" to point out to somebody that their version of supposed Christian Beliefs isn't supported by the largest Christian religion. Especially when some people present their claims as the one and only belief, when there are many different versions and interpretations out there.

The only reason this thread has continued is Kid's continued moronic posting. He's really too easy of a target to pass up when he posts the crap that he does. The fact that he does it under the banner of Christianity makes it even worse. He's the last person I would ever look to to get a true feel of how to be a good christian. He gives Christians a bad name.

If I were an orthodox guy, I'd be touchy about someone saying that catholicism has the best claim, as the orthodox guys certainly have a better claim.
