So your god does NOT practice absolute forgiveness. He will only give you grace if you repent or go to confession.

Because Jesus forgave you before you were born. i.e. he died on the cross for you.

When you repent it just means your sins are forgotten. They were already forgiven.

35 “This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart.”

Since the Catholics consider themselves the official church of Jesus... they must have the inside track on understanding Christ and that particular god. So since you follow your own particular doctrine, most other christians would probably consider you wrong. That probably explains why you come across as a terrible christian... because you are.

Just to mention one thing, too mention credit is given to reason. And I was told that tradition is the accumulation of reason which is confusing to me. Really, I'm not completely familiar with it, but I do know that I disagree with some of it. I'm not a doctrine person anyway as I don't hardly give any credit to reason.
