What I'm trying to say, I think Kuci knows how to phrase it better than I do, is that there is a socialism-capitalism spectrum with anarchy on one end and communism on the other and what people see as "socialism" is not a hard boundary on that spectrum but actually subjective.

Hmmm... so does the CFL have salary cap and such? Is Euro-league football still around? We need a capitalistic (American) football league to compare to, so once and for all we can determine whether capitalism or socialism is the best.

(NCAA doesn't count as capitalist because the athletes all get paid the same (legally at least))

Also... the NBA has revenue sharing and salary cap. MLB has a team called the Reds even.
