    There's a London in Canada?

I think there's only been a couple of inches of snow at most in Cardiff - I've been enjoying watching the rest of the country grind to a halt...

Of course there is. In the New World, we've run out of proper names for cities a long time ago.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Yes, Fake London on the Fake Thames. I thought after 10+ years that would be obvious.

Good question. People born here best I can tell.

I bet most of the people born there get out at the first opportunity they get.

Surprisingly, probably more people than those who give a sh*t about London in the old country.

Are you trolling or have you visited Fake London?

Fact: My mom was born in Fake London and got out as soon as she met my dad, whose marriage proposal was something to the effect of "Marry me, and I will move us to Calgary"

A ton of the Waterloo engineers (~1 hour east of Fake London) head out to London to party on the weekends, and the London girls (especially ones from Fanshawe College, it seems) fall over themselves trying to hook up with one of the engineers. They're people capable of getting them out of town.

Apparently not. To both of those questions...

I can't be trolled on Fake London as I was born elsewhere and only live here for work purposes.

                                I will if needed.

It isn't a very good city.

                                Another 10cm overnight. *sigh*
