Don't be an idiot, Serb. Your country totally bribed its way into hosting the World Cup and you should be proud of that.

Serb, I don't care about who won. Russia will no doubt do a very good world cup, and may have deserved the award on merit. Russia is still an extremely corrupt country and FIFA is still a very corrupted organisation.
One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.

That video isn't arrogant. It's funny. I would have loved it even more, if it was actually official and shown at the voting ceremony.

You Brits really should quit whining, though; everyone knows that FIFA is a corrupt organisation and that you have to engage in morally dubious acts to get the World Cup. You're obviously not above such behaviour (you scored the 2012 Olympics from an equally corrupt IOC), so you only have yourselves to blame for failing to out bribe the Russians.

Decent troll, OTOH the IOC has specific rules about hospitality, what you can provide. FIFA doesn't.
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

We won the Olympics because the IOC wanted to see the looks on the faces of the Parisian delegation

I bet that wiped the smile of their arrogance, gallic faces

It may not have wiped the smile of the face of Londoners, but it certainly deflated their wallets.

WTF was your problem, then? Apparently you didn't even have to break any rules to bribe FIFA...

None of FIFA's at any rate.

I dont have any problem wuth Russia hosting. Qatar, OTOH, is as a poor choice for the WC as Brazil is for the Olympics (for different reasons of course).

No organization in which Julio Grondona is in charge of finance can be anything less than corrupt.

I lmao'ed when I read that now British have taken away their 'offer' to FIFA for free $1200/night rooms at a fancy hotel during the London Olympics because they are disgusted by them being bribed by the Russians .

I'm also very happy this circus has decided not to park in Holland.
