Oh, yes. CLEARLY this represents a strict universal claim about all possible assets! That is the only reasonable interpretation!

Oh really? Ever heard of TIPS? Series I Savings Bonds? Munis that are CPI-indexed (and rich people sure love Munis!)?

There's also the fact that wealthier people are more able to re-allocate their savings at the first signs of inflationary pressure. How many low wage earners are buying commodities?

It does demean both of us. KrazyHorse is like a bad smell that never goes away. I have joined him in the gutter. The alternative is to leave this forum because I do wish to put up with his endless childish rants. I will not be driven out by the likes of KrazyHorse. I have twice offered to end this circle jerk and he has refused. My apologies, but I expect this will continue indefinitely.
