Every once in a while, I visit CFC to remind myself why I'm not a member there and hopefully never will be. Only visiting their forums for more than 3 minutes is dangerous for the mind and health of any sane person.

A quick example I came over a few days ago, it's a complaint from a poster to the administration:

1) CFC has everything to do with the ads. You are providing the space for them or agreeing to the contract that involves them. If you choose to go with an ad provider that doesn't vet every ad that is your choice. $Bling$ $bling$ $bling$

2) While you're at it please remove the advertisements for civ 5/links to sites selling them. You should not advertise a game that most people agree is not healthy atm. And for the sake of impartiality/journalistic integrity, you should put forward a list of CFC management that has a finical interest in civ 5's success next ot any suggestion that people buy it.

It is indeed one of the default cities in Civ4. I see it in my current game. I will probably burn it to ground when I launch my attack on the American Empire. Sorry.

Not really. During Civ II it had the best information and participation, especially for MP (see Great Library). When Civ turned to crap, beginning with III, CFC put it in their bucket.

Nope. III was the golden age of Poly on-topic activity. IV was a better game (almost unanimously) and that's when Poly decided to part ways with Civ.
