    • Good for you. There are a couple of grammatically correct options there. I could have used a semi-colon or an actual colon, but a period is equally correct. A comma would have been wrong, because then you'd have two independent clauses joined by a comma, which is a comma splice.

      There is actually a minor error with that post, although it's generally accepted today. It would have been more correct for me to say "... the number of people on this site who think I'm gay..." rather than using that.
