Don't assume. While what you say is the standard, there are instances that don't meet the "norm". For instance, I was briefly married. She ran around with her longtime boyfriend. She got pregnant.
What do you think I did? I gave up rights and paid no support. It wasn't worth it to me to take a paternity test and maybe I was the father and get to pay child support after they married.
If I were to think about it for any time, I 'm sure that I could come up with other possibilies. GENERALLY, you're probably right, but take nothing for granted. Facts are needed.

Did you use that line in your sig on her? She probably thought you were gay after that.

That cheap tin single car garage door also looks tacky. They should have shot the architect for coming up with such a terrible design; it looks like some dirt farmer designed it on what he imagines a chateau is supposed to look like but got everything wrong. Also who the hell puts their garage on the first floor instead of on the side? That's just more indication that they're poor and couldn't afford a decent amount of land plus everyone knows that buildings built over dead space like a garage are way more likely to collapse in an earthquake but I guess he doesn't care about that because if he did he wouldn't have used unreinforced concrete as the building material which he later just covered with a thin veneer of finishing stone.

I'm reminded of Saddam's tacky palaces which looked sort of nice from a distance but once you got inside everything was soddy and low quality with the finishing stones literally falling off because they used cheap concrete to hold it on.

I've seen a million of those in the middle east. They literally are shoddily construct as all get go and usually they're half empty on the inside because they can't afford to buy decent furniture. They do look nice once the finishing tile is put in place so that the shoddiness is covered up so people can't see it.

Typically, they use a few make concrete support beams with a small amount of rebar in it so it doesn't collapse right away (just sags over time because they use low quality concrete & to little rebar), then they fill the concrete fram with cinderblocks and a little bit of concrete (I stress little because often you can see holes in the half finished wall so large you can see daylight through them but that doesn't matter because step #3 is), cover the sloppy wall which they skimped on concrete between the cinder blocks with finishing stone so that it looks nice. The problem is if you lean to hard against the wall the poorly cemented cinder block of the wall are as likely to fall out as to stay. But, hey, you just finish the inside wall with plaster and no one sees how poorly constructed it was.

We run 10mm metal bar through the hallow blocks (which are lower quality than cinder blocks ) on a 12" grid for the walls on a couple building projects so far. I really don't like that manner of construction... but it's what is common here.

Later, for a water tank up on the hill we poured solid concrete walls with more metal bar, 6" grid IIRC. Even though there was some confusion as to the thickness of the walls (so they ended up 2" thicker than necessary) and some bending of the forms due to low quality wood forms (so even thicker than that in some places)... the cost wasn't much more than the hallow block construction for a similar wall area. Definitely going that way on all future construction. Probably will even end up replacing the hallow block walls at some point when I get the chance.

Assuming your father lived in the same country as you, you would being paying for his retirement/pension.

BS. You can't see how the building looks behind the front part of the building.

No, but you can see how the roof slopes down to the base of the railing.

Well damn if you're bumping the thread, I guess I'll point out that I'm pretty sure it is his house since he had numerous pictures inside the gates and with his kids. Good to know though that it's not as filthy rich as it seems. Still, I don't really want a relationship with someone who didn't raise me.
