    LOL

nice try. You will of course notice I made no general alignment equating Hispanic to the pejorative 'wetback'. Instead I merely commented on the use of the offensive term in the firstplace.

I'm not sure I'd consider the ad "racist". It's not saying Hispanics are less of a people or anything. If anything, it's a political play that Hispanics are likely to vote Democratic, so point out that the Democratic Party isn't really representing them.

Why exactly are you defending Oerdin, Sloww? I didn't think you two liked each other very much.

Republicans attempting to prevent blacks from voting. Gee, they don't want hispanics to vote, they don't want blacks to vote... It's almost like they don't want people who are not white to vote.

I'm not defending Oerdin. Where did you think you saw that? I don't care about him one way or the other. In this thread, I've already called him mean names.
What do you want for nothing? Rubber biscuits?

And Oerdin, republicans certainly don't want lazy ass rock hounds, of any persuasion, to vote.

This is probably better than the Democratic tactic of taking buses around to the ghetto and picking people up (including homeless people) and telling them who to vote for (hell, pre-election registration be damned!).

Now, I'm speaking from personal experience but check this out, for example:

Three van loads of Hughes High students were taken last week – during school hours – to vote and given sample ballots only for Democratic candidates and then taken for ice cream, a Monday lawsuit alleges.

Yeah that's about right. Democratic campaign workers not only tell the people (not just students) who to vote for and give them flyers with the people's names, but they are known to give things and even money to people to encourage them to hop on the van/bus and go down to the polling station.

And then you got multiple registrations and multiple voting... plus the deceased voting.

WOW! Democrats are so cool! They don't prohibit dead people from voting or you voting multiple times!

'Course that was just jokies right?

Yep. And don't even try to claim saying "there be no wetback here" is the equivalent to systematically trying to commit voter suppression of nonwhites across the country.
