Hey Drix, I didn't realise you'd already visited Cardiff.

I think this girl was fiddling with his balls...
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

I got me some hot bird just last night. It was great with veggies and rice.

I was hoping you were a call man as I wanted to slip you a $20.

No personal contact, of course, I just want to watch you dance in a bikini and pink boa.

What "versatiliy and effectiveness" do they bring over super hornets and the F-35C?

"lol it can take off from highways". When was the last time that was used in a combat situation?

(let me help you out: never)
You know as well as I do that the versatility is bringing a near fix wing capability aircraft to a ship that casts half as much to build or operate than a carrier and is far more useful in certain situations that do not require a full on carrier to prosecute. Somalia, where I am now, is one excellent example and we use its hybrid nature to great effect every day.

It doesn't necessarily need to be Marines flying them, but VTOL is useful.

I am not sure where you are getting the idea that it is hamstringing either the A or C varient either. At this point all three are in independant tracks.

It's pretty clear that the Europeans are incapable of fielding a decent size military if they can't even afford what little they have done in Iraq and Afghanistan. The sad thing is that the UK is actually probably the most powerful country in terms of military in Europe, yet they are this pathetic, so you can imagine what the rest of Europe is like. Europe is a sinking ship, the US should just get out.
The US navy does have a lot of men in it. I found one from your old navy days:

                    • So Cardiff is like the UK's Philadelphia? Nice. Are Cardiffians also known for being violent and angry or are they more care-free in their post-apocalyptic landscape?

                      • Nothing post-apocalyptic here, you must mean The Valleys...

Cardiff is far less violent, crime-ridden and unfriendly than London. Sure, it's a party destination - but it's also very well policed these days because most of the partying is in a clearly defined area...

Bull****. This is like Curtis and his ACL. Funny how the guys who talk the most are the ones too ***** to sign up

Did you try, DriXnaK? Did you talk to anyone, go to MEPS, and find out if it was truly a DQ condition?

                            • Al, what is your IQ? I'd really be interested in knowing it. To answer your question, I signed up for the army to go into their network defense position. I told them I had a herniated disc in my back, he said he'd ask around to see if that disqualifies me, and then he called me back and thanked me for my interest. Also, I'd appreciate it if you didn't attempt to talk down to me since you are so far beneath me it is pathetic.

                              • Bull****. All that means is that the recruiter didn't want to bother with the hassle of getting a waiver. If you were serious about it, you would have gone elsewhere til someone got you up to MEPS so you could hear that from an actual doctor.

Trust me. I know how this works. People get told they're a no go but when they dig further, there's no problem. Everything's on a case by case basis. Your herniated disc is not the same as the next guy's.
