                ...or, it depends on your hourly rate and how much time you have to spend at love, friendship etc...

                I suppose you could keep a spreadsheet and bill your other half and friends on a monthly basis. Or weekly, if you think it's only temporary...

                    Observation: at one point in time it would have been almost equally inconceivable to treat land (particularly that historically owned by a family line) as a fungible asset.

                    (People who actually know stuff about history are free to correct me on this point.)

                        I don't think that's true; I imagine there are several clever ways to price these goods via examination of relevant service sectors (escorting, hostessing, advising, education, religious contributions, etc.).

                            I thought of those, but figured that the upper or lower bounds you get from them are going to be very loose.
