Obama is a social democrat at most. Do you think he even compares to social democrats in Europe? To the socialism of the Scandinavian countries? Would you consider LBJ a socialist? How about Richard Nixon or Gerald Ford? They should be nearly socialist by your standards as well. If you think Obama is a socialist, than you're in for a real surprise when this crisis bottoms out. This is only the beginning of things. The crisis had just started when we elected Obama. But when unemployment reaches Great Depression levels, a mass uprising will be in the making.Does anyone really think Obama is not a socialist? The man surrounds himself with communists and socialists, implements socialist policies, and espouses socialist ideals...yet it seems to be taboo for anyone to even insinuate that he might be a socialist. When anyone even thinks he might be one the media and everyone pounce and spin it as absolutely ridiculous and fringe thinking. I'm almost amused by it. Do they really think Americans are that stupid? Why do they feel the need to go to such lengths to hide it and treat the very mention of it as a taboo subject? If they aren't socialists then why do all the socialist and communist organizations in America support him? If they believe they are so right and everyone in America likes what they are doing then why do they feel the need to conceal it?
People in this country are so accustomed to a fast-growing economy, material comforts, and wealth and credit all around, they won't be able to handle a depression. They'll turn to socialists who promise them food and the riches of the upper classes, just like many people did in the last depression (and those people were much hardier and used to poverty). If you're like me and don't want a socialist revolt, than we need to act now. We need sensible economic policies to get us out of this crisis, redistributionary economic policies to appease the hungry masses that will threaten us with revolt, and a stronger, less restrained government that can do whatever it takes to stop any revolutions in the making.Comment

Lets face it, were it not for US protection and bases in Europe you probably would have been conquered a long time ago. You have declining birth rates while muslims have exploding populations. So yes, you are being outproduced. Also, your economies have always sucked. Then again, that's what happens to socialist countries. Europe is a case study in how socialism completely destroys a country from the inside. I think the US should research the spread of socialism for military purposes.Comment
