Does anyone really think Obama is not a socialist? The man surrounds himself with communists and socialists, implements socialist policies, and espouses socialist ideals...yet it seems to be taboo for anyone to even insinuate that he might be a socialist. When anyone even thinks he might be one the media and everyone pounce and spin it as absolutely ridiculous and fringe thinking. I'm almost amused by it. Do they really think Americans are that stupid? Why do they feel the need to go to such lengths to hide it and treat the very mention of it as a taboo subject? If they aren't socialists then why do all the socialist and communist organizations in America support him? If they believe they are so right and everyone in America likes what they are doing then why do they feel the need to conceal it?

Are you trying to say that Obama is not a socialist? Are you trying to say the support from communists and socialists, who are his core constituents, is just mere coincidence? Are you trying to say that the people he appoints as his advisers, and the people he has associated with all his life are just coincidence as well? Are you trying to say that the policies he is attempting to impose are not socialist in nature? I'm absolutely amazed by this. It's not surprising, because in this country if you come out and say you are a socialist then your political career is pretty much over in all but the most progressive of areas. It's also interesting to me the way the political left continually tries to evolve the way it is perceived by changing its name, most recently now referring to themselves as progressives. Lets face it, mainstream America does not like socialists so if you come out and say what you are and run on what you're really planning to do you'd see landslide elections for Republicans.Comment
