I feel like I should choose West Side Story for its effective reworking of one of the Bard's great works into an urban American street milieu that really speaks to me, but I'm just too partial to Guys and Dolls to do so. I tear up every time I watch Nathan and Adelaide finally get married.

On a side note, I always contended that Poetic Justice should've been a musical, but John Singleton was adamantly against it. Idiot; did he really think the public wouldn't accept a musical starring myself and Janet Jackson at the height of her popularity? That would've been a bonafide hit and might have breathed some life into a sadly moribund movie genre...Last edited by Tupac Shakur; September 17, 2010, 18:27.

And Les Mis.
A bit cliche, but certainly a more worthy choice than Jesus Christ Superstar.Last edited by Tupac Shakur; September 17, 2010, 20:26.
