What are you talking about? Most of my friends who played sports either in high school or college are doing quite well for themselves. Some are in law school, some are working in investment banking, etc.

Hasn't it been proven that student athletes do better than the average student? The discipline, competitive drive, team-work, etc. associated with sports is very character building and improves one's ability to be successful.

And I say this as someone who didn't play organized sports.

You incorrectly assume that I wasn't on organized sports teams year-round throughout school.

Hey I'm not the one that ever came on here blathering about how great my high school was when I was in high school. That's one thing I never did do. Kuci did it like crazy and HC does it all the time now. I'm the one that's trying to kick them down a notch and make them realize that their fancy pants high school doesn't mean ****.

1) You aren't smart enough to kick HC down a notch, let alone me.
2) The fancy pants high school actually meant a whole lot. Hell, the places I applied in the DC area for jobs after I graduated college still thought "oh, cool, he went to TJ, he must be smart".

I was in London again a few weeks back and as I was leaving work I was stopped on the street by some Indian kid. He asked me if I "worked in finance or investment banking". I told him yes, and he asked me for advice. I didn't give him any, as he was obviously clueless and useless. I feel the same way about Alby. He supposedly studied finance and econ and got good grades, but understands both subjects at a far lower level than I or even Kuci do.
