            Though Springsteen is from Jersey but like all South Jersey people, he wishes he was a Philadelphian.

                          If you're going Census Statistical Areas which are like Greater Metropolitan Areas than not quite... South Jersey is in Philly's CSA and North Jersey is in NYC's CSA.
