Yeah, it's Don Young. He's being charged with insider trading. BTW, yes, Alaska is the worst welfare case in the country, even worse than Mississippi which is amazing, they survive on Federal handouts and government spending but they're completely anti-government. It just makes no sense especially since they're against anything remotely "socialisticy sounding" yet they're easily the most socialistic state in the country in reality. Actually, I don't think you're right with respect to Alaska. I think its Republican allegiance comes mainly from the fact that Democrats are worried about polluting the "natural beauty" of the horrid wasteland known as Point Barrow.If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?

Alaskans support Republicans because Republicans support drilling oil. End of story. The Alaskan welfare bonanza consists of oil money handed out by the State of Alaska, principally. The big welfare recipients from the federal government are primarily the indigenous people. Bear in mind that parts of Alaska which haven't seen much oil money, for instance the panhandle, vote very strongly Democrat.Comment
