A belated Happy Birthday, Apolyton Civilization Site.

Robert, Jeroen and company: I'm looking forward to seeing what you have in store for Apolyton CS as, I have seen and heard some refer to it, "Poly 2.0". (Can I quibble with the version number? )

Isn't the English language colourful?

There's the "enduring existence" part I mention above in practice.PolyCast Co-Host, Owner and Producer: entertaining | informing civ

I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

DaveV would be another longtime Apolytoner still active (?), and (of course) Ming and rah (or are they not active here anymore?).
I also followed the Civ 2 strategy discussions (but was not registered as a user) on the two sites that eventually merged into Apolyton: Mark's The First Greek Civilization Site (or something similar) and Dan's The Ultimate Civilization Site (IIRC).
I seem to remember that a heck of a lot of posters always wrote Theban instead of Theben...
Edited: Forgot to raise a glass to our dear Apolyton!

BTW, there's been some changes (to say the least! ) since I last looked at my profile. How do I make the things under "Additional information" publicly available? It used to be visible under our handles in every post... You know, "Interests" would be seen under "Posts: 3041" etc.
Thanks for any input!
