Sitcoms/Coms/Etc: Your Recoms

I know I'm supposed to love The Office but never got over how lame the US version is vs. the original.

Did you ever watch anything beyond the first season of the US Office? I could possibly see (though strongly disagree with) someone who says the UK Office is better than season one of the US Office. However the UK show can't remotely hold a candle to seasons 2-5 of the US Office. Not even close.

I've seen every episode of both shows and the US one is far superior in every way.

Forgot two:

Archer, which hasn't been mentioned, is almost as good as Venture Brothers; it's like the third season of Frisky Dingo that we never had.

30 Rock, which has been mentioned, isn't as good as its been in the past, but it is still reliably funny, and Tina Fey is sexy as hell.

Archer . The Office, Community, Big Bang Theory, Eastbound and Down, and CYE are also good.

Canadian shows: Hiccups > Dan for Mayor (currently airing)

US shows: The Big Bang Theory > Community > How I met your mother > The Middle

Wow. They syndicate those Canadian shows overseas?? No one even watches them here.

Agreed on BBT and 2.5. Has Community gotten better? All the first season episodes I watched kind of sucked.

And Jane is a major part of why GLEE is so good. And she's on almost every episode.

The office is inconsistent. Sometimes good and sometime boring.

And I'll agree that 30 rock is overrated. It's good, but no where near as good as a lot of people claim.

Community is arguably the greatest sitcom on TV today (it's between that and 30 Rock). It has approached Arrested Development good in a few episodes (the Paintball one in particular).
