It wasn't that it was bad, it was that it was mistimed. It was originally supposed to launch 18 months ago at ridiculously low prices (subsidized by Verizon). Some idiot at MS decided to re-do the whole OS from scratch, instead of being based on the old Sidekick OS it was to be based on Windows CE. That led to an 18-month delay. In a way, yes. But not convincing I was gay, more convincing myself I was not straight. Straight is the default assumption, something virtually everyone would hope for themselves. I knew at a very, very young age that I liked guys more than girls, but I always had excuses -- I thought all guys felt like that when they're young (cooties, etc). Then during adolescence I wrote it off as a curious phase. Then in late adolescence I told myself I just liked both. Then I finally realized I was lying to myself, I only liked guys. No, I stopped posting pictures long before that. I can't even remember which picture was posted on CG at the time, but it was a rarity.
In my early twenties my metabolism completely slowed to a crawl and my diet/exercise did not change. I went up to 190lbs (so I was fat) before changing the diet and hitting the gym regularly. Now I'm ~165lbs and happy again.
But still ugly.
