    That reminds me when I started a job as a support manager and the workers were used to having simple administrators in that role instead of an experienced developer. I asked one of them how long it would take to make a data set name change in a JCL stream (yeah it was awhile ago) He told me a day. I leaned over his shoulder and made the change myself in about 20 seconds and forwarded it on to change control. I then asked the guy what he had planned to do with the rest of his day. The look on his face was priceless.
    It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

As we learned from the T-SQL Mandelbrot and A Batch of Pi, stupid coding tricks aren't really about obfuscation per se... just, well, stupid awesomeness. If you were to use The Daily WTF as a guide, your impression of XSL Transformations (XSLT) would probably be fairly low. I mean, seeing article after article after article might have given the impression that XSLT is often not the right tool for the job... or, perhaps, maybe not even a right tool. Period.

                    Somewhat bizarre factoid: prior to today I did know how to make AJAXy apps, but I didn't know how to use CSS
