I can agree that Mass sucx almost as much as Canuckistan save that it is geographically closer to the US.

As for the creator of the game he might have been born in the land of the lost but had the foresight to come to the US like all good furriners should. Given that he was able to be milked of any good ideas and have them made into a USA product he falls on the dust heap of used up resources.

I do think the concerns of a historically low scoring WC have been proven premature by the looks of the second round that concludes today, no doubt helped by Portugal's 7 today.

For all you naysayers out there, the games right now are really exciting with South Africa a realistic chance of clinching the 2nd spot in their group after all!

Half-time so far:

South Africa 2-0 France (with France down to ten men!)

Uruguay 1-0 Mexico


South Africa still need to overturn a 2 goal deficit against the Mexicans, but with the French risking imploding even further and with only 10 men, it is definitely imaginable that SA can score another 2 goals.

Also, if Uruguay can score more goals, that also helps SA's cause.

But then whoever comes second has to play Argentina!
