    What the hell took so long?

    I noticed this today at Subway but thought I got an unusually intelligent clerk.

    HE TESSELLATED THE ****ING CHEESE.

    It turns out it is FINALLY NEW POLICY.

    What the HELL took them so long? This seriously drove me nuts as a computer graphics geek and someone with mild OCD tendencies.

          This is what angers me. I cannot fathom how ANYONE cannot see how superior the tessellated method is.

          One time I asked the guy if he could tessellate the cheese and he looked at me like I was from ****ing Mars.

              I think it was fine the way it was. I had no idea Subway had a specific policy for this though.

                Fine? FINE? It's a MONSTROSITY.

                Look at all of that UNCOVERED SANDWICH. Look at how much OVERLAPS.

                It is a crime.

                  They can flip it behind their back and as long as it hits the sub, I don't care. I'd rather it not be piled in one spot, but I'm not going to drag out my calipers over it.

                              It's the correct terminology. How else would you say it?

                              Please orient the cheese in such a manner that each alternating slice is flipped such that it covers the most surface area without overlapping?

                              Or the ridiculous phrasing in the image in the OP?
