They only ranked 221 cities, and it doesn't even tell you which ones they were.

I can't comment on if that list is worth anything or not without the evaluation criteria. Off hand though it appears a crap list based on biased criteria such as having universal government run health care being extremely highly rated. I for one know Calgary sucks and so that poll is invalid if such a crap hole is on it. Any place that cold for that much of the year is ****. Why not live in an igloo in the artic circle and claim it is heaven? Oh, wait. Asher already did that.

Yes. Some of the cleanest air and water in the world.

Figures we're the bastards driving the oil sands, one of the most destructive environmental processes imaginable. But don't worry! The oil sands are close to Edmonton, not Calgary.

Calgary is regularly tops in terms of ecology and cleanliness. Forbes recently named it the cleanest major city in the world also.
