YOU WOULD PAY OUT OF POCKET AND THEN ASK FOR LEGAL FEES, WHCIH THE JUDGE WOULD GRANT SO LONGER AS YOU KNOW HOW TO ASK FOR IT. Which by the way A MULTI BILLION DOLLARS COMPANY LIKE MCDONALDS KNOWS HOW TO DO.

And don't even GET ME STARTED ON BRITAIN. If you think business is the best place to start a Britain, you deserve the terrible profits you will see there.

PUBLIC DEFENDERS ARE ANYTHING BUT. They tend to be uneducated pawns that make the legal system look fair. It is not. If you have a public defender, may god have mercy time on your soul because they are probably just environmentalist wackjob pacifists trying to pad their resume. SEE ALSO PRO BONO LAWYERS

...I did not know that. Thanks, nevermind...although I still contend that tort rules are often ridiculous. Also, I appreciate your lack of capitalization

Plenty of tort rules are ridiculous (e.g., elimination of the common law invitee/licensee/trespasser distinction). Plenty of others seem so at first blush, but stand up well once you think about them a bit. Generally, the latter are long-established common law rules, and the former recent attempts to get away from them. Beware of calls for tort reform without specific proposals.

I wonder how Wiglaf was described to HC.

You can't really describe Wiglaf, though I'm sure Kuci gave it a shot. He has to be experienced.
