  • London in the spring... or Dortmund?

I have a couple of days to kill (leftover vacation from last year) before June 30th.

I can get cheap Wizzair flights from Zagreb to London and Dortmund. Yes, only
    those two

Dortmund - they have the best beer.

Yes, but if ˈɛɪjaˌfjatlaˌjœːkʏtl̥ makes more noise it will be easier to hitchhike back home - besides, you are a kraut and krauts has a historical yearning to get to london

True. But they don't like visitors. First they digged a deep broad ditch filled with water which they call 'channel' or something. Then they put lotsa big ships with big guns and planes there so that any honest Kraut with a panzer would have difficulties getting ashore. And even if you manage to do it, they'd get angry, call it an 'invasion', and bomb the crap outta you. How's that fair?

I'm leaning to London to be honest, since it's a big city with lots of
things to see concentrated in one place. There are many things I want
to see in Germany but they're spread out. To boot, I'm a fan of Victorian
technology and architecture. I'm also a fan of panzers, so this is not an
              easy choice.

London, Vet. I'll buy you a beer and offer a tour of Victorian architecture and history. Though I might have to point out some Art Deco on the way.

My answer would be that it depends on your own finance.

For things to do on a short trip and how amazing they can be, London is top, but very expensive.

For a bloke asking what may be the best trip on a budget, I'll take Germany everyday.

I'd go Dortmand, as a budget break. London, if you've got a bit of spare cash.

EDIT: German lager is cheap but good and strong if that makes a difference.

                      British ale suits mid-Spring though.

                        London it shall be.

Just got my vacation approved. From June 22nd to 30th.

Tonight or tomorrow morning I'm buying an airplane ticket and
accommodation. When I take care of that, I'll post the exact
                        dates.

Cort Haus, your offer of beer shall not go unpunished
I'll PM you when I take care of all that stuff I mentioned above.

A silly question: in the UK, is there a fee when I withdraw money from
                              the ATM?
