Preventative medicine is great, when I exercise and eat smart/etc I don't have blood pressure problems/cholesterol problems/etc. When I don't, even if I am not dying/etc due to my problems, I am still having to take medication/etc and feel like **** + heart goes funny/etc.

Lets consider things like routine physicals, breast exams, prostate screenings, checking cholesterol etc etc. Are you asserting that a population that did these things would have no better health results that a population did not do these things?
