      Actually, while SlowwHand didn't state his point eloquently, I have to agree that generalizing southerners as thin-skinned wusses and secessionists does in fact make you a n00b.

        If he had generalized them as Lizard-skinned red-necks would that have made him a vet?

              I was commenting on slowwwwhand's explanation for the civil war. Apparently people like Oerdin bothered them so much they had to secede.

                Lizard skinned is the general result in older people that have spent too much time in the sun so their skin is usually darker and more leathery. In the south there's more sun and more old people.
