                        I think what's remarkable about these poll numbers is how many Americans hold these beliefs despite the media's incessant ridicule of them.

                        Most mainstream outlets won't touch these ideas with a ten foot pole, and the official 9/11 conspiracy theory is trumpeted ad nauseam, but still a substantial number of Americans (100 mil), find fault with the story.
