Well, it's not like others haven't tried the "talking baby = funny" idea before. This is sort of like "Look Who's Talking," only about 25 years later and with a commercial tie-in for some stupid internet stock-trading company. Also, this movie will presumably have crummy lip-syncing instead of voice overs. So, yeah, we're talking a much, much ****tier version of an already-forgettable eighties comedy.
Oh, the AV Club drew the LWT connection long before I did. Oh well.
Well, did those Geico cavemen actually get a show? Wasn't that canceled before it could air? There may be hope.
No, it aired six episodes. It was cancelled because, while the commercials were clever, the creator really only had the talent to write commercials. The actual show, instead of being a "unique buddy comedy that offers a clever twist on stereotypes and turns race relations on its head", instead just took the word "minority" and replaced it with "caveman".
And if it weren't for the Writers' Strike, the remaining 7 unaired episodes might have actually aired.

Now, Kool-Aid: The Movie might be watchable. Him busting through walls and other solid objects. Tagline: "This summer, immovable object meets Kool-Aid"
I've allways wanted to play "Russ Meyer's Civilization"

Those commercials were not clever, you sack of crap. Choke on your lies!
This is not movie related, but I really like one of the Liberty Mutual commercials where a person helps someone out in some small way, then someone who saw it is inspired and ends up helping someone else. For some reason, I find that commercial touching.
A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.
Why are you people getting so worked up. I, for one, am looking forward to the creativity no doubt to be infused into such a film.
I'm consitently stupid- Japher I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned
