Jesus dude, go read a ****ing book on Afghanistan before 9/11. You have plenty to learn about Karzai and other Pashtun opponents of the Taliban.

      Um, no. Apparently you do.

      I'm debating, you're dodging.

Who were these foreign troops fighting the Taliban government Drake? Hint - "The Soviets" is a wrong answer.

I'm waiting to hear which foreign troops fought against the Taliban government (obviously unsuccessfully since it wasn't until our arrival that they were ousted) and how this means Karzai with his massive foreign troop support to maintain him in government is legitimate.

Foreign troops were fighting the Taliban before Karzai's government was even formed and they'll be fighting them after Karzai is gone. You're being a massive dumbass.

OMFG. Are you this stupid? It was our foreign troops who fought against the Taliban government, you idiot. Karzai's government was formed after we had already kicked the Taliban out of power.

The primary mission of the Western troop presence in Afghanistan is to destroy the Taliban, not to protect Karzai's government. Getting rid of Karzai isn't going to solve anything, since we were fighting the Taliban before he became leader and will likely be fighting them after he's replaced.

Good god, it's like trying to explain things to a child...

We were talking about the legitimacy of the Karzai government Drake. You know, the government we are keeping in power. Please focus.

Yes, I'm aware we installed him. That's the whole ****ing point.

                    Dumbass.

We didn't "install" him, you ****ing ignoramus. He was selected by a loya jirga and then elected twice, as I said before. Go educate yourself and stop wasting my time.

                        ..and here we go again.

Rigged elections in which the Taliban were not allowed to run, resulting in a government that is not accepted by the Pashtun. Where is the legitimacy?

As to your late edit to an earlier post - Yes, Karzai is Pashtun. He is also western educated and (probably) past CIA. We like him. Unfortunately the Pashtun don't. Who do you think is fighting his government? Irish insurgents?

You clearly don't have the first goddamn clue about Afghanistan or its recent history. You also clearly don't have any shame, or you wouldn't be embarrassing yourself like this.

I think this is my favorite retarded thing you've said. It's like you don't even know that pretty much every leader/warlord in Afghanistan has past ties to the CIA...

It's hard to argue intelligently with someone who doesn't know (or accept) basic facts.

His CIA connections are neither here nor there as to his legitimacy but certainly speak to why he is western approved. Yes, many of the Northern Alliance have such connections as well but they aren't Pashtun. Karzai fit the bill.

                                "basic facts"?

I'd be real pleased if you would present some.
