If ghosts have mass, then they are bound to gravity.
But if they are not stopped by walls, neither are they by floors. So, a ghost with mass should be dragged to the center of the earth.

By the same logic, dozens of difference gases, including helium, would have been dragged to the centre of the Earth eons ago.
