  • It still hurts . . .

My left ankle seems to have a minor sprain and I don't even remember where and when I had sprained it.

I thought I could just see if it heals on its own, without having to go to a doctor because the pain is very minor. I think I've had this for a couple weeks now?

So do I go to a general physician for a sprained ankle, or do I see a specialist (and what specialist would that be)?

Gynegologist, you *****. Pain, shmain. (Pussycat? OK, ***** is cencored, good to know.)

I'd go to a general doctor, see what he says. If he, expert of medicine, says you need to see a specialist, then go see a specialist. We're just bunch of nerds, what do we know.

I'm not sure if there even is a foot doctor... Pediatrician is one for kids, even though it sounds like pedestrian. Or pedal. You know, bi-pedal.

Why is there a word like infant, and infantry? I wonder...

Ligaments take time to heal. Take ibuprofen regularly for a few days, even if the pain seems to have gone.

Do you have health insurance Mr. Fun or will you be required to sell a kidney to finance a visit to the specialist?

But I'm one of those weird people who uses both feet to walk on.

Will the ligmaments still heal if I walk as usual? That's what I have been doing, just walking almost as usual.

Wezil - yeah, I have good health insurance so money won't be a problem.

I've sprained my right ankle about 5 times, doc always said to buy a brace and wear it until the pain goes away.

get an ace bandage and wrap your foot until it starts feeling better
also, wear boots or shoes with good ankle support

Amputate the leg. It's the only way to be sure.

This, and the wrap/brace suggestion. Also man up.

They should do. If they don't, it's not a sprain.
