        Stephen Fry

He's on American TV, which automatically makes him more worthy of respect than 99.99% of the losers in your ****ty country.

The mans a genius, and more worthy of respect than 99.99% of any country. As the host of 'QI' he is entertaining and enlightening the nation. Perhaps you can return the favour and point me in the direction of a similarly cerebral and amusing show from the colonies

You'd have to ask one of the Canadians about the TV shows in the British colonies.

Tea should be taken black. Unless it's chai, in which case it's already adulterated beyond recovery so what the hell.

Rush is not really religious. I think the divide in the teabaggers is the same as the divide in the republican party, economic liberals dividing from social authoritarians. Alot of social authoritarians are trying to get their hands on this one-sided (economic) party. As far as I can see, it has fractured like the GOP. They now offer General Feel-Good Tax Reform, with Flat or Fair(tm) options, as opposed to blatently supporting HR25. That's largely a political compromise to get some thumpers. Just like the democrats who cannot stand on a fundamentally contradictory platform (liberal social and authoritarian economic), they are fragmented. Now is the time for a third party... How about Green and Libertarian; if we can get 5% in a general, we get equal TV debate time for the next election.

Authoritarian = setting rules and regulations (government control).
Liberal = easing rules and regulations (government control).

Democrats want liberal social policy but government control (authoritarian) economic policy. Republicans want authoritarian social policy (anti-gay, pro-death-penalty, anti-legalization) and liberal economic policy (less regulations and presence of government in the economy).

Class dismissed (see also: edits above).

Authoritative social and economic is called: fascist, communist, theocratic, monarchist and/or a few other things. Take your pick.
