Eat **** and die, big mouth. It may have qualified a s a great speech in your feeble mind. To me, it was just a self-serving ****wit trying to get to the point where he could make millions off dumbasses like you again.

What is so great about that speech?

He could have simply said "I ****ed up, leave my kids alone."

So he should not have apologized at all?

What do you idiots care that he ****ed more women than Wilt Chamberlain? I wasn't aware that you were previously Tiger fanboys because of his family life or moral values, but because of his skill on the golf course.

The only thing I care about is that Tiger isn't playing golf, which reduces my interest in that sport from minimal to zero.

I blame it all on golf.

I've never played golf, I don't consider it a sport and I don't care about Tiger. I've certainly never bought anything golf-related and I've never watched a match (do they call them matches or rounds). I really and truly could not be less interested in golf or golfers.

                      That said, great speech.

                      Just sayin'

Tiger's appetite for holes could never be satisfied.

I guess you do not understand. Public figures/celebrities such as Tiger Woods are pretty much public property - they basically give up their right to privacy, which is why tabloids can get away with publishing whatever stories they want.

So, given that Tiger Woods is a public figure, it made sense for him to feel obligated to publicly apologize for the mistakes he made. Slowwy probably hates Woods (for whatever reason) so much, that it wouldn't have mattered how Woods conducted himself. Slowwy damns Woods for apologizing, and he probably would have damned Woods if he had not apologized.

I wasn't actually going after your statement MrFun, it was more chosen at random to get my point of view on the subject in.

I'm not taking sides in your debate with Sloww either, because although I can see how you would infer his motives, they're not explicitly clear in this thread as being what you say they are.

An apology, in and of itself, doesn't matter. It's the spirit behind it, the reason for the person to apologize. He's not sorry for what he did, he's just very sorry he got caught. That kind of apology means nothing. Not to me. You can suck it up all that you want to, that's your decision.
You might think about raising your expectations a little bit.
